Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas this year even though Dec was pretty warm. Christmas morning came and we were up by 7am. I love watching my kids get so excited they can hardly stand it. It's so funny and brings back many childhood memories for me.
We did our traditional gingerbread houses (pics to come) and also enjoyed doing the 12 days of Christmas for someone again this year. The kids love to knock and run and think it is so funny that they dont know who we are.

Mitch wore his halloween costume all day. He was calling himself "bat puppie" ( he is really into batman these days).

Anson's 9th birthday

Anson has turned 9 years old!!
This year Aaron wanted to start a new tradition on birthdays so before school he headed out for doughnuts! Cant beat Lehi bakery. So with sugar for breakfast Anson headed off to school and later that evening we went bowling and had pizza. We even splurged and payed a little extra to have the VIP lounge with couches!! After that we came home for cake and ice cream. Yes, I know, but once a year I let my children eat like this. :)
He hit some pins!!
she had a prop! So she HAD to dance around it.

This is a little dance that Mitch did after every time it was his turn.

A proud mommy!

Anson has earned his Wolf in scouting! He was very excited. For some reason all the boys had to be blind folded when they pinned it on their mom. Good thing I wore a thick sweater.

Thanksgiving in Arizona part 2

We did some fun crafts with the kids, but mostly it was cousins playing hard together out side on the tramp and in the backyard.

thanksgiving at the Wilsons

that night we had a movie in the backyard!
me and kyle

goofin round

we finally headed home at about 5:30 am on a Sat.

It was a great time had by all. We drove straight through, but this time we had Aaron to drive.

Arizona Thanksgiving part 1

We took off for Phoenix with my sister Callie and the kids driving for about 12 hours!

stopping in St George for the night at Grandpa's condo.
Our cousins have a fun swing in the backyard and Mitch just like to lay on it.
this was our thankful tree. We wrote on leaves what we were thankful for and stuck it on the tree.
Megan loved playing with her Uncle Aaron.
a really large engine we found at a park.

the kid's first time to see cactus. Cool.

Halloween 2010

my cute little puppy

our jack-o-lanterns

Morgan "dared" herself to stick her face inside. She thought it was so gross!!
the wind and rain was awful as we tried to trick or treat.

maybe we shouldn't have left dad home alone to answer the door.
my scary Halloween hair.
